Returning to New Zealand after 6 years overseas, I had almost forgotten what a great place Dunedin is. For such a small city there are so many fantastic cafes, restaurants and shops. The main street is always bustling with people and there are always events on around town. The thing I have missed most about Dunedin is its proximity to some of the best outdoor environments in New Zealand. A short drive in one direction takes you to pristine beaches with sea lions and penguins while the other direction takes you to disserted mountain tops. It is nice to be back in Dunedin.
I love it how we are learning cutting edge research from people who are top in the world in their field of research.
